These fun socks are knitted from the top down with a traditional double heel. Colorful inserts are made with the modular knitting technique; it is neither jacquard nor intarsia. These playful and unique socks are made on circular needles with the "magic loop" method.

 Sizes
 XS (S, M, L, XL), which corresponds to a US shoe size of 3/4 (5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12).

 Sample
 36 stitches and 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stocking stitch knitted with 2.5 mm/US 1½ needles

 BFL Collection by Colorista, 80% Blue Faced Leicester Washable / 20% Nylon, 377m/115g.
 Main Color (PC): In old, 1 skein.
 Contrasting color 1 (CC1): Mint, approximately 10g.
 Contrasting color 2 (CC2): Rose, approximately 10g.
 Contrasting Color 3 (CC3): Pistil, approximately 10g.

 Needles and accessories
 2.5mm/US 1½ circular needles with a minimum length of 80cm.
 A second 2.5mm/US 1½ circular needle OR 2.5mm/US 1½ double pointed needles. These needles will be
 used as auxiliary needles for modular knitting.
 Yarn needle and marker rings.
