Milady is an elegant Victorian-inspired sweater. It is characterized by its high collar and sleeve cuffs decorated with lace. It is a classic and timeless piece with unique and feminine details.
 Milady is knitted from the top down, seamless, with set-in and puffed sleeves. It is knitted with two strands of lace weight yarn held together: one is a wool yarn and the other a mohair and silk blend. This blend can also be substituted with any fingering weight yarn.
 Sizes
 XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
 The pattern shown is knitted in size XS and is worn with 2 in / 5 cm of positive ease. Choose a size that is 1-3 in / 3-8 cm larger than your bust measurement.
 Finished garment chest measurement: 33½ (36, 40, 44, 48) (52, 56, 60, 64)'' / 85 (91, 102, 112, 122) (132, 142, 152, 163) cm.
 Please note that I unfortunately could not find any testers for sizes 4XL and 5XL. If you would like to knit one of these sizes, please contact me. I will be happy to offer you the pattern.
 Sample
 24 stitches and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4 in in stocking stitch knitted with 4 mm / US 6 needles, after blocking.
 Threads used
 Nurtured Fine by Julie Asselin, 100% fine wool (Rambouillet, Targhee and Merino), 708 m / 112 g.
 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 3, 4, 4) cones of Dew color or approximately 985 (1120, 1290, 1530, 1715) (1910, 2085, 2265, 2440) m of lace weight yarn.
 AND
 Anatolia by Julie Asselin, 60% kid mohair / 40% silk, 300 m / 25 g.
 4 (4, 5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 8, 9) skeins of Biscotti color or approximately 985 (1120, 1290, 1530, 1715) (1910, 2085, 2265, 2440) m of a lace weight mohair and silk blend.
 These two yarns are knitted together throughout the pattern.
 If you want to knit this pattern using only one yarn, you can substitute this 2-ply blend for any fingering weight yarn that will give you the same gauge. You will then need 985 (1120, 1290, 1530, 1715) (1910, 2085, 2265, 2440) m of this yarn.
