Mimi is knitted from the top down without a seam. It is a feminine sweater that is constructed with a round yoke decorated with a lace ruffle. It can be made with long, slightly puffed sleeves or short sleeves.

Sizes
XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
Pattern shown is knit in size XS and is worn with 4 in / 10 cm of positive ease. Choose a size that is 2-4 in / 5-10 cm larger than your bust measurement.
Finished garment bust measurement: 35 (37¾, 42¾, 46½, 51) (54, 57, 60¾, 63½) in / 89 (96, 109, 118, 130) (137, 145, 154, 161) cm.

Please note that I unfortunately could not find any testers for sizes 4XL and 5XL. If you would like to knit one of these sizes, please contact me. I will be happy to offer you the pattern.

Sample
18 stitches and 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4 in in stocking stitch knitted with 5 mm / US 8 needles, after blocking.

Threads used

  • Long sleeve version: Nueva by Fibre Carpe Diem, 38% baby alpaca, 25% merino and 37% pima cotton, 400 m / 100 g. 2 (2, 3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Hanny or approximately 700 (790, 920, 1080, 1240) (1360, 1480, 1640, 1760) m of DK weight yarn.

  • Short sleeve version: Chalet by Artfil Yarn, 50% Merino / 50% Hemp, 120 m / 50 g. 5 (5, 6, 7, 8) (9, 10, 11, 12) skeins of the colour Mist or approximately 530 (600, 710, 830, 950) (1060, 1155, 1275, 1370) m of DK weight yarn.

Needles and accessories
Circular needles 5 mm / US 8 and 4 mm / US 6.
Yarn needle and marker rings.
